My stay at Hotel Mielparque Tokyo was a mixed bag. The location is excellent, close to Tokyo Tower and a couple of subway stations, making it easy to explore the city. However, the outdated decor and strict check-in and check-out times were a bit frustrating. Overall, it offered good value for money, but don't expect luxury or extensive amenities.

I stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room with tatami mats, which was a unique experience. The room was clean but definitely felt a bit outdated, with ancient electronics and low ceilings. I enjoyed the futons, though others might find them uncomfortable.
Service

The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, although their English skills were pretty limited. They did manage to get me an extra pillow and lent me an umbrella when it rained, which was nice.

The hotel's location is a strong point—it's near Tokyo Tower and surrounded by great restaurants and cafes. Getting there from Daimon station wasn’t too hard either, but the hotel itself was a little tricky to find since the signs were mostly in Japanese.
Dining

I didn't try the breakfast or dinner, but the menu looked like it offered a wide variety of choices. Just a heads up, breakfast ends pretty early at 9:30, which seems odd to me.

Free internet was nice, but it slowed down significantly in the evenings. The hotel does have room service, which I didn't get to use, but it could be a plus for some.

My stay at Hotel Mielparque Tokyo was a unique experience, offering traditional Japanese-style accommodations at a great price. While the location near Tokyo Tower and Zojoji Temple was fantastic, I found the hotel's dated decor and strict check-in/check-out times a bit frustrating. Overall, it's a good choice if you're looking for something different and affordable. 🏯✨

However, the hotel does feel outdated, with a lot of the decor and electronics seemingly stuck in the past. The staff were friendly enough but communication could be a bit challenging due to the language barrier.

During my stay at Hotel Mielparque Tokyo, I found it to be a quirky blend of traditional Japanese and dated styles. The location is fantastic, near major attractions like Tokyo Tower, but the hotel could definitely use some modern upgrades. While the staff was friendly and the pricing was reasonable, I was less impressed with the check-in and check-out times that felt a bit rigid.
